No Tek Screws
No Tek screws are used in the construction of the building frames. All
connections are high strength, hot dipped, galvanized BOLTS and construction washers.
Tek screws work by being screwed into the material holding the two parts together. With the constant movement that every building undertakes due to heat expansion and wind vibration these screws loosen and become the weak point.
Our bolted system ensures the fastening cannot loosen and the building remains strong and sturdy.
Fundamentally this means that our buildings are strong and weatherproof. In high wind areas our building retain their claddings where as other, different, building method can loose cladding, with all the inherent danger that produces.
Additionally if a cladding panel is damaged it can be replaced without compromising the integrity of the building.
An additional benefit of the bolted construction is that when you wish to move your building you can. And when you reassemble it in its new location, because of the bolts, it is as strong as it was before.
